About Us

As a supervised entity, PCRRL functions as CRRIC’s South Asia learning, research, and advocacy node—supporting community-centered peacebuilding, feminist learning, and resilience research. All strategic directions, governance mechanisms, and programmatic standards are guided by CRRIC’s institutional frameworks, including:

  • feminist and intersectional principles,
  • community-led research ethics,
  • knowledge translation methodologies,
  • Ethical, trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices, and
  • global peace and resilience strategies.

PCRRL serves as a bridge between CRRIC’s global work and local South Asian realities—amplifying marginalized voices, connecting grassroots movements to international learning networks, and strengthening evidence-based advocacy in contexts affected by conflict, inequality, and exclusion. In a nut shell, PCRRL exists to connect Bangladesh and the wider region with global feminist movements, while ensuring that local knowledge, lived experience, and community expertise shape regional peace and social justice efforts.

Our Vision

To contribute to a peaceful, resilient, and gender-just society in South Asia by expanding CRRIC’s global peacebuilding and feminist learning mission at the national and regional level.

PCRRL envisions a regional ecosystem where:

  • Knowledge and evidence are shared freely across borders,
  • Marginalized communities influence policy and social discourse,
  • Feminist values guide peace and justice initiatives, and
  • Learning becomes a tool for solidarity, transformation, and collective resilience.

PCRRL’s vision aligns entirely with CRRIC’s institutional commitment to peace, justice, human rights, and inclusive development.
